Google Update Trends & Technology Google Play Pass is now at a $30 Subscription By Elinsys, 17th Jul 2020

Google Play Pass is an app subscription service by Google for Android devices. It was initially launched on 23rd September 2019. This service includes access to a hundred apps and games that are free from in-app purchases and ads. Play Pass has highly curated content and new content is added regularly.

Google’s Play Pass gives you access to more than 350 apps and games that are completely unlocked. Some of the well-known apps and games that you can find there are: Terraria, Monument Valley, Risk, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and AccuWeather. Well, some of the other less known apps that are still amazing and can be found on Google Play Pass are: LIMBO, Lichtspeer, Mini Metro, Old Man’s Journey and many more. New titles are being added every month and the latest includes are This War of Mine and Cytus coming soon. There’s always something new to be discovered and something exciting waiting for you.

The apps that are available in Google Play Pass are still available for users on Google’s app store – Play Store. You simply need to look for Play Pass ‘ticket’. All the apps and games found throughout the Play Pass homepage or throughout Google Play Store (with the pass ticket) are completely unlocked and free of in-app purchases and ads – because you already have a subscription for that.

The Play Pass subscription can be shared with 5 other family members. Each of the family members can access Play Pass individually, so that your experience will not be affected by what others download.

Now, Google has announced that as of this week, the ad-free Android App service will offer $30 yearly subscription plan in the US alongside the original $5 per month option. It’s not too pricy for those who want to subscribe long term. It’s also known that Play Pass is expanding beyond the US. Google plans to expand in nine different countries this week including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and UK. The pricing for these countries has not been revealed yet. The company has already added over 150 games and apps.
