Google’s search results show many more site links for a website. Many more sub pages now show up in the search results – even the ones’ that never appeared in search results as site links before.
Well, Google says that site links displayed in the search results have always been a Google feature. This is not a new feature or tweak in Google’s ranking process. Looking at the clarification given on the prestigious search engine land article by Matt McGee shows clear examples of this and answers this very question:

Google also says that if their algorithm finds relevance in pages for particular search strings, they will definitely display them as user experience with search results is the ultimate goal!
